This IS a funny comedy. And, they got me again.
I can totally see this in everyday life. Not all our lives. Just women divorcees hanging out, being their gang of gals. They create their own mischief, making you either cover or open your eyes for sure. Don't forget to close your mouth back up too. The gals protect their pack as best they can, without remorse, without fear, and without letting on. Or so they think.
You have to love Liz. Her unwavering love of someone puts common sense off to the side. Mary and Jo are like, “where’s this coming from?” Trenner? Oh, well Trennor is the coolest of the cool. Takes life simple, does not judge unless it’s your boob size.
The actors are super cool. They own their parts. They intermix to the max. I did not mention all their characters above because it gives too much away. Let’s just say, super well done. Their acting had me captivated more perhaps than the written comedy. Give credit to Wendy MacLeod, the author, for that. Give credit to our Director. And please give a standing-O for the cast. Bravo!
