Pageant Play 2/23/18

Pageant Play
By Mark Setlock & Matthew Wilkas
Presented through special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

Comedy! We need comedy these days. This play brings some great acting not only in performance of a character, but multiple characters! The use of props was wonderful, as well as the props being wonderful too.

I would not classify this play as a stereotype. There are plenty of thought provoking moments to bound your mind from the writing to the acting. Sort of the hook that keeps you differently hooked at each scene.

Cast
(order of appearance)

Rob Ibanez - Bobby/Buddy

Jerico Bleu - Bob/Gunnar

Lauren Knutson - Pinky

Mary Collie - Marge/Pinky's Mother

Though you will the production staff at the end, I want to give a special recognition to staffer Adrienne Petty for his efforts up in the booth. I have seen Adrienne improve through the many shows I have photographed. I want to give you this accolade, Adrienne, to give you the boost for more personal growth . . .

At my bride Christi's dislike, all I can say is, "I feel ya bro . . . ". (Go see the play!)
