4th Annual DHC Arts on the Ave

This was my first time at "Arts on the Ave" in Downtown Hammond, Indiana. It was pretty cool. Lots of sun and fun for everyone. What is strange is that even being small, I still did not get to see everything. I kept busy supporting Christi and her art she was selling, and taking photographs!

The next few photographs are of my bride Christi setting up and figuring out how what photographs to hang.

The next set of photographs are of Chad Clifford, one of our regions musicians of Front Porch Music, and who is the lead singer for The Crawpuppies. Chad is a strong supporter of our local NWI music industry, and giving a platform/venue for musicians to play.

My very cool friend Sophia!

And friends will be friends . . .

I saw this young lady for the fist time at The Dance Gallery in Munster, December of 2012. With very little effort she was up in the air in this next photograph. The photograph after is one I took back in 2012. This comes natural to here I think. You can view my blog from 2012 by clicking "here". If you are wanting to learn to dance, check this out "here".

Nope, life is not to get you down. Buddy Brabant boogie'n to the live music!

2 Bukk Chukk

I really need not say more. If you have not seen them yet, it is your own fault.

These guys were really good. They are down with their heartfelt play, rock'n it for us, in a clean precise play that makes you want to get up and dance. Check out their Facebook page by clicking "here".
