Update 12/31/2022

 Hello!

It has been a long time, again, since I posted on this blog site. It is difficult to corral the art scene in area code 219. Everyone has their view how it should be done. Each with a promising start. Some die off (like this site), some go stagnate (like this site), while others seem to have the horsepower to endure (maybe this site).

Still, the art scene (and music scene) grows, thanks to all of you who support the dripping talent of NW Indiana. We have galleries like Paul Henry's Art Gallery and their supporting artists, who have endured. There area many more.

Art is important to us whether you feel it or not. It expresses us and give us emotion(s) that we want felt, for both artist and art collector. It is a freedom of expression. It is who we are.

I still have to update this site. I just finished 219 Music. Give me some time. If you have a favorite artist (or you are an artist) or venue that wants to be listed, please send an E-mail to 219ArtLive[at]gmail.com. Note that I used [at] to confuse the Internet bots. Replace it with @.

Lastly, if you find errors or broken links, please let me know. I have a day job. This is just something to keep me off the streets as it were, after my day job.
